Best of 2011–part 1

In my first year with this blog, there have been some highs and some LOWS, but all in all I’ve been overwhelmed by the support of the blogging community in general and my followers, which just continue to surprise me day in and day out. I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt appreciation to you guys for listening to me ramble and rant.

Now for my lists and picks. I figured why not have a category for each year in 2000. So there are 12 categories. (yeah, I almost missed that sneaky 2000 year). I’ll do 6 today and six tomorrow. So the awards go to……..




For Best Established Series that I just found this year -


Runner up is -   I love Bones!!!



Winner --   These books are sexy and hilarious. I am sooooo glad I found them.



Best Cover -



The Runner up is --   Yeah, with a spoon baby…..with a spoon

Best Romantic Suspense -

The runner up is -  Outstanding!



The Winner is -   Lori stacked the deck with three awesome books, but still……DAYAM!!



Worst of the Best-


This category was hard because it concerns authors that I love who published a book that I felt didn’t meet their previous standards.



Runner up is - The heroine in this book …. just ….too much



The Winner -- This book totally scared me. I was afraid it might have been the beginning of the end. Thank God for The Guardian!



Best Erotica-


This category was a clean sweep. With both spots going to one of my favorite book couples, Skriker and Rose.

Winner by a landslide 

- I am not a fan of BDSM but this book was one of the most powerful stories I’ve ever read.

Best Historical-



Runner up - This series just knocked me off my feet.




And the Winner is --  As you can tell, I am ALL about the series. And you must watch the trailer for this book. It is hysterical!!
