Deva Morgan was a half fae barkeep who kept her head low and her few friends close. When the shiny but tough looking blonde stranger walks into her bar, she’s curious but cautious. Especially when he pulls out a sword and decapitates the man sitting next to him at the bar.
Padraig O’Neill is a fae warrior sent from Otherworld by royal decree to protect the new Cáidh Arm (arm of the Goddess). She is destined to lead the Armies of Light against the Dark Lord and his underlings from the Abyss, who wish to destroy the veil separating the realms and take over the Earth. The war is coming and time to prepare the young woman is short. Padraig has walled himself off from his emotions to deal with the harshness of war and he needs to make sure that Deva does the same or she and the rest of the world may not survive.

As the youngest of the Fae queen Graciela’s children, Moira O’Neill had perfected the art of snooping and eavesdropping on the older members of her family, a family of tall, blonde, silver eyed, beautifully regal Fae. Moira never questioned her short stature, her brown eyes or red hair and it always made her feel special when her mother called her the daughter of her heart. Now after spying on her mother and the wereleopard Steve Taylor, she knows the truth. She was switched with the true daughter and no one knows where she came from or exactly what she is, but Moira is determined to find out. Major Steve Taylor, future Felix of Earth’s wereleopards is sworn to protect the Cáidh Arm, not babysit a spoiled princess looking for trouble in the middle of a deadly war. He’s as surprised as anyone when his cat marks Moira as his mate.

Alanna is the missing Fae princess that has just learned her twin daughters are still alive and living among the humans on Earth. She is also the only reason Luc is still among the living and his only chance at redemption. Luc must let go of his guilt and accept the soul bond or both he and Alanna lose their chance at happiness.
Wow!! I have been immersed in this series for awhile now and I am not ready to let it go. In fact I had to create a series rating based on how much I LOVED this series. I am a series slut, no doubt, no arguments. But I only have a hand full that I would be willing to sell my child for. (said child is 29 and not very sellable). For those few series, I have created the diamond standard as you can see at the top of this post. When I designate a series a diamond series, you know that I give this my highest recommendation and will run over the elderly and small children to get first crack at it.
L.J. DeLeon has created a world on the verge of a supernatural war with factions from every myth, realm and religion. She has given the reader FANTASTIC heroines, who are strong, yet compassionate, intelligent but always willing to learn from others, and some of the fiercest warriors anywhere. Her heroes are dominant, strong, incredibly sexy but damaged men who love as hard as they fight and are loyal to their core. The war they are fighting is massive and losses are enormous. The lines between good and evil shift several times and the players are not always who and what they seem. With a story that often brings as much heartache as smiles, this series has a long, long, long way to go before I am even partially sated. Brava and kudos on a job extremely well done.
