Bear with Me …..

So, just a little FYI. Sometimes things here at R, S, & TB may seem a little erratic. So, to explain away any inconsistencies, here’s my deal. In a perfect world I get to respond to all the comments, emails, tweets and Facebook posts right away. This is what I would love, love, LOVE to do, because I am a bit OCD and a perfectionist. BUUUUUUTTTTT……

I’m still not 100% from the car wreck that took me out of commission for over a year. I’m actually at about 80% on a good day.

I still try to do work with animal rescue groups. I am no longer physically able to maintain my wolf sanctuary sadly. But I do work with feral cat rescue, which at times can be almost as demanding.

I am also the full time, hell the ONLY caregiver for my father who is in full blown dementia.

This is by far the HARDEST job I have ever had and it gets more taxing every day. It will wreck you and tear you down. It will work your very last nerve.

Now, I’m not telling you this for sympathy or pity, because frankly I would rather have a fork jammed in  my eye. I’m just giving you the sit-rep, so if I’m not as quick to respond, it is NOT because I am apathetic or doing something more fun, because I love interacting with all my peeps on the blogosphere. It’s just I am spread out very, very thin and only have limited reserves on which to pull from.

So, I can only hope you understand, and if at times I seem a little snarky or sarcastic, that’s just because I am. That was me before all the other crap.
Now to reward you for your patience.

Man! You have a lot of stuff in the air. Social media visits would be low on my list too. Do what you have to do, right?

Whew girl that's a lot to be dealing with. Being a caretaker is such hard work and really does wear you out. Lots of virtual hugs and strength coming your way!

Awe Love, I never felt you were ignoring anyone. We all have a life off the internet - LOL I'm sorry to hear about your father - it is hard to watch your loved ones become weak of mind. Hubby and I went through that with his Mom - it was hard, she died at the age of 93.

As for your self, you just take care of yourself, that is all you need to worry about. It's been 16 years since I was hurt in the military and I'm still recovering. My physical and mental abilities have improved but I find that some days I'm starting from the beginning of recovery.

So I understand - I'm sending you a big Cyber Hug! Remember Blogging is your Hobby not your life. I know you are off having a life when I don't see you online, at least that is what I'm doing when I'm not on line.

Take care of yourself my friend. If there is anything I can help you with and it's within my power all you gotta do is ask and then I'll ask someone else - LMAO! No you know I'll be there.

that is a lot, but first = YOU! take care of you and your family first. My grandmother had Alzhemeirs so I know how taxing it can be. Sending a virtual hug your way :) and take care.
