Mankind doesn’t need a hero. It needs a sinner.

In the battle between good and evil, humans have never been more than collateral damage. Now they are prey. Mankind doesn’t need a hero. It needs a sinner.

Corrupt. Wicked. Nefarious. Contemptible….
The Baddest Boys in History are back!

You read about them in school. Now learn the truth. Real men. No vampires, no werewolves, no magic. Just down and dirty raw power —sin to sin, evil to evil, bad to bad. They fight for humanity. It was that or eternal damnation.
They agreed to risk their souls. No one told them they would lose their hearts.

THE BASTARD

Vike died in blood, in battle, in betrayal. His ruthlessness was second only to his brutality. Now one woman makes his blood sing and he’ll stop at nothing to save her. He only has to face half of Hell to do it.

Lacy is unknowingly descended from an ancient Holy line. Someone is slowly destroying her life and wants her dead. A fierce Viking comes to her rescue, and in his arms, she finds more than safety.

If Vike can’t protect Lacy, he’ll have to kill her. And for a bastard, what’s one woman worth when the entire world is in jeopardy?

Outstanding!! I am soooo freaking over the moon about this new series! Let me tell you about it. There were two angels sent to battle demons and prevent them from taking over heaven and earth. They were given 77 souls each to help in the battle.

Michael chose first. He is a major tool. I mean MAJOR! He and his Righteous bunch of restored heroes guard the gates of heaven. He also had a thing with Sela, but forgot to tell her he was a hound who would hump a chair leg.

Sela is waaaay cooler than Mikey. She wears leather and spike heels and she picked history's premier bad asses. The reviled, the feared, the boogiemen that parents tell their children to beware, these are mankind's protectors. These are our hidden heroes. Sela's group guards the human realm. They are in the trenches and have been exposed to the worst of Hell and humanity and the best ie: guns, cars and high tech weaponry.

This is the version of Erik/Vike that history tells us about. - He was a Viking, they did things a little different and he does have solid explanations for everything he did. He is also a top alpha, smexy, sweet, funny, loyal and loves chocolate chip pancakes.

th

Lacy Cooper is a cook, sister, and a descendant of the Vachangeli, one of the most Holy. This makes her and her sister Scionim and magnets for evil who crave their souls. They are also rarer than hen's teeth. She is also all kinds of sweet, kind, compassionate and ga-ga over Erik or at least the man she thinks he is.

So, there you have just the tip of the iceberg. There are echelons of demons and other beings. Stories being plotted, lives being changed and souls being leeched. It is PHENOMENAL!! Plus it is told in an engaging, fast moving manner that keeps the reader hooked from page to page. No lags whatsoever. There is danger, joy, tears, laughter and uber, off the charts HOTTNESS. The romance, sex, love, however you want to phrase it, is smoking. Yes, you will definitely need the air conditioning on my dears. You will break a sweat, but it only adds a spice to the story. It is not the main ingredient by far. This series is going to take off like a bullet, so get in at the beginning. I haven't been this certain of something since the BDB! Standing frikking ovation, Ms. Kelley. Bravissima.
