This is a bit unusual for me, and maybe it’s a moon phase, so bear with me. Now I had a review I was going to post tonight, of a very good book by an absolutely delightful lady, and that is normally what I would have done. But more and more I have been crossing paths with Deena Remiel. She wrote a book a few months back called Trinity. I actually became aware of Deena from another author’s release day contest. I didn’t win Deena’s book, but something about the tone of her post caused me to remember her. So when her book came up for review I jumped right on it. Now, this was for another site that I do regular reviews for and since I have exclusivity agreements, I can’t review it for this blog. I can tell you it was an excellent book and Deena is a heck of a writer. That being said, I read a lot of good books, deal with some very decent, likeable people for the most part. Deena Remiel is just an exuberant stand out. This lady believes in her work and her fans. You can’t help but be effected by her joyousness, and I am NOT a joyous type of person.
This aura of joy is evident in her work. I know a lot of the books I give a lot of love to are on the steamier, smuttier side, because hey, like gravitates to like. In this instance, it is impossible to separate the author from the story. I can’t fully convey this, but there is like a purity about both, not untouched, just untainted. I hope you will look into Deena’s works and be as moved as I have been.

Ooo, thanks for the heads up! It was awesome. Trinity is a really good read, not as gritty as the BDB, but good.
