Cover
Sela Sullivan is resolved to be the best maid of honor ever, even if it means tolerating the best man. Insufferable, too-handsome Luke Watters is not only the guy who humiliated her at a kissing booth in high school, but he also happens to be her best friend’s older brother. Positive he’s the same arrogant jock, Sela vows to focus on her duties and steer clear of the frustrating — and frustratingly tempting—Luke.

As a world-renowned extreme-sports photographer, Luke is used to undertaking life-risking adventures. But risking his heart for the beautiful Sela Sullivan, who clearly still hates him for his rejection all those years ago? He didn’t see that coming. Sela inspires a passion he’s never known, and the more time they spend together, the more he craves her. But can he prove to the maid of honor he’s become a man of honor?

This is a sweet, funny book. This is a romantic book with lots and lots of sexual tension, but not a lot of sexual details. It is a testament talent of the author that the chemistry was so obvious that the graphic details aren't needed to further the story. This book can still make the reader squirm a bit. The tension is so palpable between Sela and Luke that I'm surprised my kindle didn't give me just a little shock from all the electricity that was generated.

I loved the fact that Sela still harbored a grudge from high school. This is a very tenuous time for girls and a public rejection could scar a person for life. She was actually much nicer than I would have been. Luke should count himself very lucky that his equipment was still in working order. The involvement of the families was another aspect that cracked me up. Ya just gotta love em. Everyone was all up in Sela and Luke's business, despite the fact that they obviously could make their own decisions.

This was just a perfect book for a warm, sunny Spring day. It reflects the cheerfulness and Kissing the Maid of Honor made me smile, snort, and yell "You tell him, Sela!" more than once. There are some very tearful, touching moments as well so just FYI, have a tissue handy. All in all, this was a wonderful read and has made me a fan of Robin Bielman. Job well done, brava.

I've got this one on the tbr pile! Woot! I usually go for steamier but have enjoyed the bliss line. And yeah one that can make you squirm without steamy bits going too far is impressive. Glad to see you enjoyed it!
